Sometimes confused as a comparable app for creating flashcards, Present Pal is instead a tool for supporting presentations through the creation of short cue cards that can be accessed on a phone or tablet while giving a presentation. This is not a specific revision tool in the manner of Luna and does not provide customisation or review scheduling features.
Luna / Scholarcy
Scholarcy creates summaries of a research paper or article into a number of different sections, which it terms 'flashcards'. These sections include key concepts, the abstract, a synopsis, a list of highlights from the paper and a summary. They are not, therefore, flashcards in the traditional sense or intended as a tool to specifically support revision in the manner of Luna.
