Today, we’re speaking with Amy Back, and learning all about how they wound up as Product Specialist here at Booost Education.
What drew you to Booost?
Before working with Booost, I worked as an AT Trainer within the DSA. I taught Booost to my students and was always impressed with its modern interface and how it could provide support for all students. Everyone I had dealt with from Booost had been lovely, I’m so happy to have been able to join the team!
When did you know you wanted to work in customer success?
I've always liked working one-on-one with people, and in the DSA I was always so happy to see the difference that could be made to individuals' lives through software. Working in Customer Success allows me to ensure that the students we are supporting are getting the most out of our software, from the helpdesk all the way through to making sure their voices are heard in how we develop our products.
Where are you located?
Reading! I went to University in Reading and settled here, I love that it’s so close to London so I can go and visit galleries and museums but also to lots of green spaces.'
What does your perfect weekend look like?
Going for a long walk down the river, cooking some delicious food, and watching a scary film.
Best trip you've been on and why?
Athens with my brother! My degree was in Archaeology and I love ancient architecture, so it was a fantastic experience to go and see the incredibly preserved centre of Ancient Greek civilisation.
